Subscription grace period in progress

Note: This error is not applicable to Perpetual Smaart licenses.


Smaart Subscription licenses require a periodic connection to the internet. When the software fails to connect to the licensing server, this error will display to indicate that the software has entered a grace period.

 


 



The software will continue to operate in the grace period without an internet connection for a few days, to get you through a show or gig. Please use this grace period to close Smaart, connect to the internet, and open the software so that the check can succeed. After Smaart communicates with the licensing server you can disconnect your computer from the internet and continue to use Smaart offline until the next check.


If you verify that your device has a stable internet connection, but this error still appears, please verify that you can access the license management portal. Try temporarily disabling any VPN services, or try a different network. 


If you cannot access the license management portal, or Smaart continues to display the grace period message despite connecting to the internet, please contact us.
