Smaart v6 End-of-Life Notification
Effective August 16, 2024 Smaart v6 (aka EAW v6) has gone End-of-Life and will no longer be supported.
This means that Rational Acoustics will no longer provide any technical, operational, installation or activation support for this product.
It also means that the installers for Smaart v6 are no longer available for download and it cannot be installed or activated onto any new machines. Users who have installations of Smaart v6 currently running on a machine can continue to run Smaart v6 as long as their computer allows, but in the event of a lost/stolen computer or a hard drive failure or re-format, you will be unable to re-install Smaart v6.
The continued use of unsupported software is the responsibility of the user and Rational Acoustics shall bear no responsibility for security, compatibility, productivity or reliability issues arising from the continued use of Smaart v6.
We strongly advise users to migrate to the most up-to-date version of Smaart. While it is no longer possible to update Smaart v6 licenses directly, between August 16-December 31, 2024 v6 owners can receive a 10% discount on the purchase of a new perpetual or subscription license of Smaart v9 (any edition). To access the discount, v6 users can log into their Smaart License Management Account at my.rationalacoustics.com and click on the “Downloads” section.
