What is the SPL Checksum?
As of Smaart Suite/SPL v9.6, SPL logs implement a Checksum in order to ensure the integrity of its data. Visible within the Log Info dialog, this Checksum display a simple “Pass” or “Fail” depending on whether a log file has been edited in any way. This only applies to logs created in v9.6.0 or later, however. Logs generated prior to this release will instead show a third result, “Invalid”.
